Space Ballroom
~500 capConsistently all-ages indie/punk/metal room just outside New Haven. Books everything from Napalm Death and Judge to emo and post-hardcore.
The Webster
~1200 capTwo-room Hartford complex. The Underground is the all-ages room where punk and hardcore touring acts play — launched careers for Staind, Godsmack, and Sevendust in the '90s.
Brighton Music Hall (Inner)
~200 capInner room ~200 cap. Outer room 476 — too big. Booked exclusively through Crossroads Presents, not open to outside promoters.
O'Brien's Pub
~80 cap80 cap. Allston staple. Tight, sweaty, perfect for early-stage touring bands. Very DIY-friendly.
Ralph's Rock Diner
~400 cap400 cap — slightly above target range but one of the main Worcester HC/punk rooms. Split-level diner/club. Very active.
The Middle East
~194 capOne building, five stages: Downstairs (575), Upstairs (194), Sonia (350), ZuZu, and the Bakery room (60). Upstairs is the sweet spot for mid-size HC shows; Downstairs is usually too big. Cambridge institution since 1970.
The Palladium (Upstairs)
~500 capUpstairs room 500 cap — above target but key Worcester HC room. Main room (2,160) way too large. Booking via MassConcerts agency.
Stone Pony
~1000 capAsbury Park's legendary room where Springsteen cut his teeth. Still the go-to NJ stop for punk, emo, and rock touring acts year-round.
Elsewhere
~800 capRidgewood-adjacent Brooklyn venue with three rooms and a rooftop. Books indie, punk, post-punk, and underground acts across all its spaces.
Snapper Magee's
Hudson Valley DIY room. DCxPC Live runs shows here — 35 shows in 2025 alone. Rally in the Valley fest was held here. Active and grassroots.
Kung Fu Necktie
~250 capFishtown dive bar with a long-running rep as Philly's scrappy, anything-goes punk, metal, and noise venue.
PhilaMOCA
Philly all-ages DIY art/music space. Frequently cited for HC/punk shows. Capacity TBD — needs direct research.
The Rotunda
West Philly community/arts space. Active DIY HC/punk shows. All ages. Capacity and booking TBD — needs direct outreach.
Alchemy
~300 capProvidence's main HC/punk room. ~300 cap. Safe In A Crowd lists shows here regularly. 100 Demons, Strife, etc. play here.
The Met
~1000 capBorn from the merger of Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel and the original Met Cafe — Rhode Island's most storied concert history in a single mid-capacity room.
